Your Brand Story Begins to Reveal Itself with the First Sniff.
WHY SCENT?
The power
of scent
What's your olfactive story?
Like literature, an olfactive narrative will draw your audience in and communicate on an emotional level. When composing the notes and accords for a signature aroma, we carefully and deliberately arrange them to appeal to the senses and promote your brand promise.

Your custom designed scent must, by necessity, tell your story with intent to not only support your existing marketing strategy and the visual cues that define your brand or product, but it must provoke, entice, seduce, invite and delight, all as a means of emotionally strengthening the bond between you and your audience.
"Memories, imagination, old sentiments and associations are more readily reached through the sense of smell than any other channel."
- Oliver Wendell Holmes
The science
of scent
Imagine being able to influence your audience's behavior or even control their emotions, all without having to say or show them anything.
Our sense of smell is connected directly to the emotional center of our brain, the Limbic System. It is responsible for all of our feelings, including emotions such as love, trust and loyalty, and it drives all human behavior and decision-making. This side of our brain has no capacity for language, which is why we find it difficult to describe feelings and emotions.

The other side of our brain, the Neocortex, operates all rational and analytical thought processes as well as language. It allows humans to process vast amounts of complex data, but it will not drive our behavior.

Communicating to your consumer from an emotional standpoint, in particular through scent because it is both powerful and visceral, will subconsciously help gain the trust and/or loyalty of your audience and assist in driving their actions and behavior.

If something smells good,
we want more of it, and
we want it more often.
why scent works
Scent is the most powerful of all the senses.

Our sense of smell helps us understand our world and triggers an instinctual, visceral and emotional response to our surroundings. Scent is one of the most effective forms of communication in building strong brand receptiveness, memorability and recall. With the right aroma, an object or place will have a higher perceived value leading to an enhanced experience, and in today's marketplace, people expect more as they seek engaging sensory experiences from brands.

Research shows that overall mood and product desirability increase noticeably in appropriately scented environments. Studies have also shown that consumers spend significantly more time in scented spaces and that they perceive those spaces as more luxurious.
The true power of olfactory branding is in its unique ability to form an immediate, powerful and differentiated emotional bond with customers.
"We are 100 times more likely to remember something we smell than something we see, hear or touch."
- J. Vlahos (2007) Scent and Sensibility, New York Times
